Corporate Day Trips 2025

The highly qualified KCKC staff would like to introduce your members/ employees to the rewards of recreational and competitive canoe and kayak racing. With a customizable program to fulfill the needs of your audience, KCKC provides all the necessary equipment to ensure a fun safe learning environment. Participants will get to try canoes, kayaks, and a dragon boat based on the number of paddlers and requirements.

Timeline:

  • Corporate Day Trips Timeline: June 2025 to August 2025
  • Day Trip Date Booking: 1 Dec 2024 to 15 May 2025
  • Participants Registration on RAMP: 15 May 2025 to 30 July 2025
  • Days and Timing:
    • Full Day Program - Saturday/Sunday - 8.30 AM to 2.30 PM
    • Half-Day Program - Weekday/Weekends - 2 PM to 6 PM
  • Minimum Number of Participants: 10
  • Maximum Group Size: 30 Per Session
  • Day trip fees: CA$30.00 per participant - Full Day Programs, CA$25 per particiapant - Half Day Program

What’s Included

  • Water Activities - Canoe, Kayaks, SUP Board, Dragon Boat Race, etc based on the number of participants and program duration
  • Clean and hygienic Washroom and Changing room
  • Covered picnic area
  • Access to BBQ setup based on requirement
  • Open play area for land activities and team-building games
  • Insurance for participants and professional coaching

General Information:

  • You can book either a single day Trip or multiple days based on the requirement
  • KCKC provides all the equipment and lifejackets
  • KCKC DOES NOT provide drinking water
  • Participants are advised to bring an extra 2 - 3 sets of spare clothes, as they will get wet. In case of rain, we will still be paddling, so all participants should also bring waterproof/rainproof jackets. The very basic recommendation would be “the more extra clothes the better.”
  • KCKC reserves a right to change the planned activities according to the weather
  • KCKC reserves a right to change a program for a Dragonboat regatta, in case there are less than 30 participants registered for the day
  • KCKC staff has a right to change the program entirely in case the conditions are not safe for the participants. In case this happens, we have board games and running games ready for participants who want to stay active or are interested in team-building activities on land

Bookings & Reservation:

  • Corporates are required to book a date for a day trip in advance Field between 1 Dec 2024 to 15 May 2025. The booking needs to be done 15 days before the actual date of a day trip.
  • Corporates have the option to modify the date of the day trip by 15 May 2024 based on the availability of dates. Modification in the names of participants can be done up to 1 week before the event date
  • The final invoice for the day trip will be based on the number of participants booked to attend, 7 Days prior or a minimum of 1,0 whichever is higher. If additional participants request seats, KCKC must be consulted to ensure we can accommodate them. Invoicing will be adjusted accordingly.
  • ALL kids, chaperons, and supervisors MUST sign up on RAMP to submit the required information, and sign the Waiver. More step-by-step instructions about the same will be shared close to the registration date. Without completing RAMP registration, the individual will not be allowed to participate in the day trip.
  • The registration must be completed ONLINE through RAMP. In case of any technical issues, KCKC may assist with CSV file-based registrations

Cancellations and Refund Policy:

  1. Day Trip Fees: The final invoice for the field trip will be based on the number of participants booked to attend 7 days prior to the event or a minimum of 10 whichever is higher. No adjustments or refunds in case of dropouts or cancellations within 1 week prior to the event.
  2. Refunds or reductions in fees will not be offered for the discontinuation of any program due to, but not limited to, acts of God, weather conditions, power outages, natural disasters, terrorism, fire, or for any reason that would prohibit the camp from operating safely. KCKC reserves the right to change or cancel any camp program if conditions warrant. Notification will be provided as early as possible should this be necessary. Rescheduling will occur, if possible.
  3. No refunds or adjustments for any incidental absences including, but not limited to, illness, family vacations, sports schedules, or changes in participants’ schedules.
  4. There is no refund or reduction of fees for any participant who is removed from a program due to poor behavior or has been deemed unsafe.
  5. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving early
