2018 Summer Camps

KCKC YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS teach the paddling fundamentals that serve participants for the rest of their lives. In addition to canoeing, kayaking, hiking and other sports, participants further benefit from the Shumway Lake experience by sharing an intimate connection with the wildlife living in and around the area; including: heron, deer, beavers and eagles.

OUR YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS include the following sport activities:

1. Kayaking

2. Canoeing

3. Dragonboating

4. Warcanoe

5. Paddleboarding

6. Water Trampoline

Youth camps are a wonderful opportunity for participants to test whether or not they enjoy Sprint Canoe/Kayak as a sport. If so, summer camp participants are welcome to join our Recreational or Competitve Programs and train on weekdays throughout the summer. Very reasonable rates are charged during this "trial period” and it allows families to see how the sport of sprint paddling fits into their lifestyle.

For young families seeking programming for the entire summer, this is a very cost effective solution!
